Worldgen Strip-mining is now useless, ores only spawn within caves. Diamonds do not spawn in thesafe area, to find them you must either trade or venture into therough area. The best items and gear are found in theunyielding area.
Nether The Nether is no longer accessible using portals. Portals to the Nether now spawn randomly in caves. The portals will exist indefinitely, however once entered, they will close within one minute. This gives time for all your friends to enter with you. You must then find a portal in the Nether that will allow you to return, or die.
End The End is no longer only accessible by finding the stronghold and accessing theNether. All players must find all of the unique Ender eyes that can only be found in specific places.
Alchemy Brewing stands no longer exist. They are replaced by the crucible, which cannot be made but can be found. By using a source of heat underneath the crucible, brewing water and ingredients you can discover far more varied and useful potions. Also Potions may now have multiple effects.
Enchanting Enchanting gives players more control in the form of matrix enchanting. Enchanting can rarelycurse your items - you can remove curses by doing a certain ritual.
Armor &Weapons are now more varied and balanced to fit different playstyles.
Farmables Bonemeal no longer works.
